Exhibition Opening: Utpala by Sarah Pierroz

About the artist:
Sarah Pierroz is a Canadian artist and international arts educator who has taught in Cairo, Egypt, and then onto the Friuli-Venezia-Giula and Veneto region in Italy at the United World College of the Adriatic. She is now based in Thailand. Her work has been exhibited at a number of group shows in Italy and featured in a fundraising platform through Art Lift Studios for communities affected by the 2015 earthquake in Nepal. She was recently awarded an artist residency by the Canadian Government at Quetico Provincial Park. Her work can be found in private collections worldwide.

Much of Sarah's art explores the subtle sense of sensual expression deep within the body, inspired by her studies in yoga and movement. Her works tie her passion for the human form, an innate love of nature and thirst for rich poetry.
