Thong Krut Beach

Thong Krut, like all the beaches of the south of Samui, has one big drawback for those who like to swim in the sea. Shallow water. The sea with a tide retreats almost half a kilometer, leaving a rocky bottom. To the nearest centers of island life you need to go about an hour. Thong Krut is the farthest corner of the island, only Thong Tanot is farther from it. There is no infrastructure, few houses, too few tourists. The beaches are deserted, dirty, wild. From here it is convenient to hire a boat with a boatman to ride to the southern satellite islands and swim on an even more uninhabited coast.
